In 1983 Honda brought back the TL125 name as a light 'trekking' bike built alongside the new TLR200, sharing its frame and bodywork. It had a 124 cc OHC single tuned for low and mid-range pull, CDI ignition, an air-assisted fork and a bigger 6.5-litre tank. Unlike the other TLs it came with a rear carrier and pillion pegs, so it was aimed at relaxed back-road touring as much as trials.
